Notice of AGM 13th June 2022
Annual General Meeting 13th June @ 7pm
Members have been given formal notice of the St Marys Ringette Association Annual General Meeting via email from the President. The AGM will take place on 13th June 2022 at 7pm. Once again we will be conducting the AGM via Zoom.
This year there are no new motions or by-law amendments so the proposed agenda for the meeting is as follows:
- Call to order
- Establishment of quorum and proxy vote holding
- Approval of the agenda
- Approval of minutes of the previous Annual Meeting
- Presentation of Reports:
- President’s Report
- Treasurer’s Report
- Registrars Report
- Committee/Other Reports
- Election of Directors
- Adjournment
Membership Eligibility
Any individual who is an athlete, coach, official, or Director, who is registered with the Corporation is eligible to vote. Individual Members who are younger than 16 years old may have one vote exercised at meetings of Members by a parent or guardian. Individual Members who are 16 years old or older may exercise one vote.
The Executive has finalized the list of eligible members who are able to attend the meeting, and only those approved will be sent a Zoom link. Please do not share the link. Please note you may not attend if:
- You withdrew from the Association at the start of the year and did not pay a fee;
- You withdrew from the Association during the year and received a full or partial refund
- By virtue of the rules surrounding player release after 3 years you will move to a new association next season
Proxy Voting
Proxy voting is permitted in the association. Members who wish to vote by proxy must use the required form and follow the guidance contained in the proxy voting policy which can be found on our website here. The Secretary will not correct or return forms that do not comply with the requirements of this policy and votes will not be accepted.
