Ringette Ontario Updates

Ringette Ontario would like to thank you all for your continued patience and support during this time. Over the course of the 2020-2021 season, the Board of Directors, RO Staff, Associations and Covid Safety Leaders (CSLs) have been working to ensure our members have had the opportunity to participate in ringette both on the ice and online. 

During Ringette Ontario's January board meeting, it was announced that Ringette Ontario will support any Association that is able to return to the ice in the winter season or for the spring/summer season. Please note that this will only be allowed if your local public health unit permits it and if sufficient ice is available. Our staff will continue our communication with Associations and CSLs and look forward to receiving updates on their plans for the remainder of the season. 
 

Ringette Ontario has also determined that all tryouts for teams for the 2021-2022 season will not take place prior to September 1st and that a Prep Phase will take place beforehand to allow all players access to ice before tryouts. Exhibition games will be allowed during this time. The exact dates will be determined by May 1st. At that point, we will be in a better place to communicate specifics and begin the process of determining what next year's programming will look like (COVID-pending of course).
