Registration will look a little different for the upcoming season.  St. Marys Ringette has decided to move our registration to the RAMP online system, this system gives many benefits to our association making it more streamline for our Registrar. All associations are recommended to make the leap, SMRA has decided that this was a perfect time. This year SMRA will be introducing E-Transfer as a payment plan.  In addition to all these changes St. Marys Ringette would like to pass the savings back to families for the cancelled season due to COVID-19. Our goal is to have registration open April 1st, we appreciate your patience with this as we may need to be flexible with ORA.  Bond cheques will be collected in the fall at your parent meeting at the beginning of the season.  To Register: http://StMarysRingette.rampregistrations.com

Additional Notes:

  • Registration fee can be paid with multiple options.  Post-dated checks over multiple months or via e transfer.  E transfers must include child’s name and Date of birth
  • All families must all provide a post-dated cheque or cash for Volunteer/Jersey Bond. Registration is not complete without these additional cheques/cash. The Volunteer Bond/Jersey cheque is not cashed if a minimum of 6hrs (excluding open A) of volunteering effort is completed within the season AND and the jersey is returned by April 1st in good condition.  The Equipment Manger will determine if the jersey is suitable for use and whether or not the cheque will be cashed.
  • NSF Cheques: A $25.00 fee will be charged for all cheques that get returned NSF.  The family will be responsible for the full amount the cheque was written for plus the $25.00 NSF fee.
  • Final date to register will be July 1 2020. Registrations after this date are subject to approval & team availability.
  • Players (U12-U19) accepted to the A/AA provincial teams pay an additional fee of $130 - due September 30, 2020.
  • Families with 3 or more: two players to pay full registration and a 50% discount is applied for all subsequent player(s). This discount applies to player(s) with lowest registration fee.  This offer is not valid for goalie registration.
  • Dedicated Goalies: $50 registration plus Lottery and Bond. Dedicated goalies are Ringette players who have decided to play full time in goal. They are expected to provide their own goalie equipment and only play this position for games & practices. Up to 2 dedicated goalies are allowed on a team. If more than 2 players are interested in being a dedicated goalie, the President will discuss options with the affected coaches and parents. It is not necessary for a team to have a dedicated goalie and the Association, in its desire to foster this capability internally, will not consider outside players to fill this role when possible.

COVID-19 Discount:

  • Returning Players not returning for 2020-2021 season are not subject to the discount. This will not be allotted to other family members.
  • Goalies who paid $50.00 registration are only entitled to a $50.00 max refund.
  • Fees are based on your registration for the 2019-2020 season.
  • Refunds are based on Regional & Provincial Refunds as well as cancelled Ice Costs.

Refund Policy: Written request for a refund is required. 100% refund will be issued for any requests received by September 1, 2020; a 75% refund of registration fee will be issued for any requests received by October 1, 2020.  No refunds beyond October 2nd 2020


Open A Registration:

·  Registration fee: $100 cash or cheque dated October 1, 2020.

·  Jersey Security Deposit: $150 cheque dated April 15th, 2020 - this cheque will be destroyed once both jerseys have been returned.

·  All 3 components MUST be received in order to be considered a complete registration. 

·  Any registrations received after (or not fully completed by) October 15, will be required to pay a $100 late fee (instead of a Lottery cheque) and lottery tickets will not be provided.

·  By the end of September, the coach/manager will need to provide the Association Equipment Manager with the list of players and their desired jersey number. If no number is requested, the Equipment Manager will allocate a jersey to the player. Jerseys will be provided only for those players that have a complete registration. 

·  Additional jerseys can be provided if the full late registration components are provided (registration with late fee and jersey security bond).

·  The reduced registration fee reflects the fact that no Association ice has been allocated for the Open A team. The team is expected to acquire and pay for any ice they require for games & practices.
