First Tournament of The Season!
Submitted By Rebecca Shearer on Saturday, November 23, 2019
The U10 White team from St.Marys Ringette has hit the ice running! Wow what a show! The days were mild, the ice was cold but the players were HOT HoT HoT!

Heading into the final round tomorrow in Mitchell the U10's are resting up after a crazy couple of days of tense on ice battling. Two games on Friday at the annual Mitchell Stingers Ringette Tournament saw the U10 White team stay solid with two tie games. The later of the two was thanks to J.Binning #15 with 8 seconds remaining on the clock and she slid one behind the defending goalie to tie the game!
Today's game had the Snipers come up against hometown Mitchell. Both teams were wanting the win bad and you could see the determination in the plays. It was a back and forth game for much of the first period with a good clean game being played by both teams. Snipers battled to take the lead later in the second period and never looked back! Exceptional Goaltending in the Snipers squad goes out to Em Borg who held her own defending the Snipers cage.
Stay tuned tomorrow as these tough little ladies go for gold!!

The U10 White Team from St. Marys Ringette has started their season off with a mix of losses and wins. The losses were hard ones and it's always a curious thing for me to hear how other parents handle those games.
