Bottle Drive Jan 4 - 10-12:00
Submitted By Lisa Linton on Thursday, January 2, 2020
Our first ever Snipers Bottle Drive, Saturday January 4th.

At the beginning of the season the association creates a budget and part of this budget is fundraising.  Fundraising monies is to help keep registration cost low by covering ref fees, ref mileage, any new equipment (goalie equipment for young age players, rings), first aid kits for all teams. The cost of certificates for developing younger refs, as well as bench staff.  Promotions to keep our sport thriving. We also have to pay ORA insurance, regional fees and provincial fees for the provincial level teams, plus day to day operating costs.
We have decided to try something new and this is our goal with the bottle drive.  We hope to achieve both promotion for our sport as well as a fund raiser.   It is our first time for this event and expected funds raised at this point are a big unknown.  We could potentially use this fundraiser instead of one of main two larger ones, but as it is the first year we have no idea what to expect.

As always thanks to our Sniper Family and our fantastic community for all your support.

Players need to build camaraderie and the dressing room is a great place to do so but we need to make sure our kids are being respectful of their teammates, parents, opposing players and themselves.
