Snipers Annual Banquet
Submitted By A. McCurdy on Thursday, March 28, 2019
Our "End of the Year Banquet" is fast approaching.  Our banquet will be held on Tuesday April 16th in the 2/3 hall in the arena. We will eat at 6:00pm sharp so please come anytime after 5:30pm with your food items so we can have all of the food tables set up and ready to go.  As we try to keep our waste at a minimum, we ask that everyone BYO cutlery and plates.  Bottled water and juice boxes will be provided for everyone.

Each team has a specific item/category that we ask you to bring.  Here is the list...

U7 - dessert
U8 White - buns/cheese/cold meat (please divide this up among st your team to ensure that a good variety of each is brought)
U8 Blue - fruit & vegetables
U9- salads
U12 - main dish
U12PP -main dish
U14 - main dish
U16 - dessert

Please bring your items to the banquet ready to go (ie/main dishes that need cooked are already cooked and warm/hot when you bring them to the banquet).  Please keep in mind that we usually have 200+ people attending our banquet so please take this into consideration when preparing your food.  Please NO PEANUTS or nuts in any of the food items.

Please have your child dress in their "Sniper" gear if they have sweatshirts, hats, etc.  Parents can join in the fun as well by wearing their Sniper gear and/or our St.Marys ringette colours of blue/white/green.

We will be seating the teams together at tables so please look for your team specific table.  There will be assigned tables set up for parents/siblings as well.

The evening will start with a short welcome, followed by dinner, and afterwards we will briefly recognize each team starting with the our youngest players and continuing up those the age groups.

Each team will be brought up to the front, we will introduce the team players and someone will give a  brief summary of the 2018-19 season for that particular team.

We will end the year with our amazing slide show that recaps all of our fun and accomplishments over the season.  If you have any pictures that you still need to get to Peter Westlaken, please do so asap. E-mail pictures to [email protected]

Thank you so much for your cooperation, we are looking forward to a fun filled evening of celebration.  If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me anytime.
